align main menu so that menu options are centered

Here's my website: [login to view URL] I recently aligned my menu titles to be centered horizontally. I added code: <p style="text-align: center;">NEW? START HERE</p> to my menu titles. This worked fine except for one unwanted side effect. If you check out my website you will see my main menu now has extra space underneath the buttons. I can't figure out how to remove this extra space without removing the //text-align: center//. I'm looking for someone who is experienced that may be able to fix this.
