Update a function to play sound when css keyframes are called

A Small coding job which will lead to others if done well,
I would like one function to be edited on our site, which is in three files in a custom wordpress auction theme
These files make a call to the db every 30 seconds and if a table in the db has changed it is shown and returned to the user and browser via css keyframes.. flashing red.
I would like to add a sound when the keyframes css is called.
Please add add sound to function in your reply to ensure it is read.
