Background: Currently in place is an xml feed that updates every 24 hours. After each update to the database, 2 csv files are generated. Once each csv file is generated an email notification is sent to notify its readiness for download. There are 2 csv files generated through the xml feed/database: 1. Product update csv - that contains updated information of all products from our supplier. This csv is generated and emailed daily. 2. Specials update csv - that contains information of products that are on special. This csv is generated when available (not daily) and emailed. Help needed: 1. Diagnostic I have stopped receiving emails since 21 December 2015. I need someone with expertise to help determine the following: - Check that the current xml feed is still working. - Check that the cron job is still working. - Tell me what is happening and why it has stopped working - Provide a quote to fix it 2. Fix - Resume the daily Product update csv and email - Resume the Specials update csv and email

Dear Sir, PHP expert here. I can fix it. There may have 3 reasons behind this error. 1. crontab has changed and doesn't include your script now. 2. path to your script got changed. 3. the structure of the xml from your supplier got changed which is most likely to be the reason. Thanks...........

Hello! It's absolutely not know what the second part would involve, so here's my proposal. The current bid is for carrying pat (1) - identification of the actual problem and what would invole getting it resolved. Hi. How about your database, is it still being updated today? If not, then my guess is that XML provider has probably changed their XML structure for 2016, and so the XML-PARSING section inside your PHP code (cron job) might need some adjustment. If it is still, then maybe that PHP code halts somewhere in middle and thus not executing email sending section. One possibility is recent PHP upgrade to version 5.5. This version might naturally generate deprecated errors, when your PHP code is still using mySQL_ functions. If true, then I guess you need to convert those mySQL_ to PDO. Other possibility I could think of is recent server upgrade. It may stop current running cron job. Have you contacted your host provider about this? Kindly let me know more details, should you need me to further investigate this: (a) URL to XML feed. (b) your PHP code (activated by cron job). Hendra D.
