I have a .csv that I am looking to get created that will update some fields in my database whenever I import a .csv file. I am not sure what the easiest way to do this is but maybe search to see if the first and last name match and if so update. Also not all things listed in the csv file are in the database and I don't need them all anyways but I can help figure out which ones are which any questions please ask. I have selected a lower budget but please bid what you think it is worth. I can provide samples of the .csv to be uploaded and the database if needed

Hello ! May I please see the db structure (the table that needs to be updated) and a sample CSV ? The match by first + last name I'd say is not good, as there is a chance (slight, but still exists) that some wrong records might get updated, there needs to be some unique key used for identifying the csv rows against the table rows. This is gonna be a PHP script that you'll have to run either in the command line or as a small web interface where you'll upload the file and process it. Regards, Dragos

can you get me sample csv and database? I think its bad idea to just match first name and last name and update db , because multiple records can have same first name and last name I have 5+ years of experience in php.
