The part of our business this proposal is being let for is CanSource, where we provide labels, cans and labeling services for the craft beer and can related industry. The project is to write some software to drive our web-based online ordering system and integrate to Fishbowl Manufacturing. This online ordering system would be driven off a authenticated log in to either a direct or franchisee (we call it affiliate) portal. Once authenticated, the user would order labeled cans, brite (unlabeled) cans, and related packaging materials (can ends, 4/6 pack holders and can cardboard holders.) Once the order is created, the user would be presented tiered pricing for labels, cans (either labeled and/or brite (unlabeled)) and packaging [login to view URL] user would also upload artwork for the labels they need for their labeled cans. Their are different pricing tiers for direct and affiliate users. There would be a parallel back-end system for CanSource artwork personnel to perform the order's artwork review and approval. Once the order is completely approved, the order is uploaded to the Fishbowl Manufacturing system (apis are located @ [login to view URL]). This project would replace an existing system and we have a list of enhancements that we would request proposals for after successful completion of this project.
