Need a working database looking sort of like excel to run inventory, repairs, parts, expenses for the mechanic shop/vehicle dealership. supposed to have hierarchy of users (admin, user, can see/edit, add only) Don't have to look fancy, no graphics required at all, will be used inside the company only. should be able to calculate days in the inventory based on date sold MINUS date purchased. Should have a VIN decoder to decode vehicle VIN# on a basic level, year, make,model and show it to the user prior to add, ask him if correct and if no let edit beforehand. should have at least 3 different sheets, 1 for inventory cars for sale, one for vehicles owned and used by the company, and 3-rd one for parts, --- it should also cross match parts to vehicles. When part is added should ask user what year/make and model it is for, and display this info on the main sheet, next to the vehicle, in a convenient pop-up or additional field "parts available". should have such fields as date purchased, date sold, status, days in inventory, year, make, model, Repairs needed, title location, pictures taken, vehicle location, mileage, color, price paid, shipping, all appropriate repairs each vehicle has to have a button (add repair, add part), should calculate all totals, and provide weekly,monthly, and yearly statistics of sales, profits, per vehicle and in general, amount spent on repairs. Will provide additional info. should be able to deploy it to our web hosting.
