We are a tour operator, wholesaler and agents of travel products. Our product is of the following categories:
a. Hotel Room – sell by room / night
b. Day Tour – short tour program from few hours, 1 day to 2 days.
c. FIT package – package elements include two or more the following; flight, hotel room, return airport transfer, tour program and etc. Each package is sold with a minimum of nights hotel stay and customer is given the option to buy extra night stay. Add-on option for a customer to buying extra such as “Day Tour” and etc.
Usually, there is no inventory control for this package category but there are cases where we are limited by the supplier quota for each element such as airlines and hotels.
d. Group Tour Package – this is a scheduled tour program with a limited number of seats per scheduled tour date. Therefore, we have to control the inventory and control the price level. Price level control is determined by the number of seats sold; for example, price level increase on next customer after every x number of pax sold. Price level control can be manual or auto depend on your suggestion and up to 5 levels.
Group tour package elements consist of flight, guided tour program with accommodations, meal, attraction entrance and etc.
e. Land Group Tour Package – this is the Group Tour Package without the flight. This is for the customer who has their own flight or wish to book a different flight from the package.
We want to build a booking engine (plugin or component) for our website to manage and receive booking for our products mention above. We would prefer that this booking engine to be built on Wordpress or Joomla platform.
