PLEASE READ THE ATTACHMENT FOR FURTHER FIGURES. 1) In Excel, we need to see the potential benefits required to achieve an IRR of 8.5% for this project. 2) In Excel, we need to see what the pay-back period of this project is, assuming the above potential benefits. 3) In Excel, we need to see what the NPV of this project is assuming the above potential benefits and a cost of capital of 6%. 4) The Loans Department needs to commit to some improvement in operational efficiency and some reduction in provision for bad debt to justify the investment of $10M. The provision for bad debt and operating expenses represent 3.45% of the average portfolio in 2006. This percentage is expected to fall with the implementation of the new system. In our new framework, we need to show the benefits obtained for a range of 3.45% to 3.35% and for different portfolio sizes. For a given portfolio, we need to identify the percentage that generates the benefits required to achieve an IRR of 8.5%. The operational efficiency will come from a reduction in operational expenses in the branches, in particular from the account managers who are responsible for loan making and loan administration. The 2006 operational expenses are broken down as follows: Account Managers 60% Branch Management 10% Regional and Head offices 30% We are expecting at least a 5% productivity improvement from the account managers with the implementation of the system. We need to know if this productivity improvement is sufficient to justify the implementation of the system. (Note that all figures are ficticious) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
