Blog Monetization

First project with RentACoder. Problem/Opportunity Statement This project will be a first step the process of enhancing the usefullness of my blog and of allowing it to become monetized. First by collecting e-mail addresses to develop a subscriber list, and then by adding sellable information products to it. Additional blog enhancing projects TBA. What I require NOW is for a box to be set up on the blog webpage to collect visitors e-mail addresses. Then for the collected addresses to be catalogued. An information product will be offered in exchange for an e-mail address in future. Business Objectives Four objectives of the blog are: to develop relationships with blog visitors, to educate visitors about psychological health and healing, to dialogue about topics of mutual interest, to develop a relational foundation for marketing information products. The completion of this project will open the portal to generating income. Targeted monthly income is $5,000.00. Functionality That the e-mail addresses collected will be catalogued efficiently and effectively for future marketing purposes, That the addition made to the blog will harmonzie with the esthetics of the webpage. Exclusions Any additional projects to the one noted above are subject to further instruction. Assumptions That internet users can: benefit from being part of a virtual community, enjoy educational information that is free, will pay for perceived value in an information product(s). That blogging can be a viable foundation for a profitable business. Constraints Unknown Benefits That the project: will enable the blog to generate a subscriber list, will build a bridge to subscribers and prospective subscribers through marketing efforts, will take the blog a step closer to income generation. Risks That blog visitors do not offer their e-mail addresses to create the subscriber list as expected. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Platform Windows XP SP2, with results on webpage, operable on all versions of Internet Explorer and all versions of Firefox (web based).
