General Description:
This website will be the hub for organizing a computer video game tournament and convention set to take place in Dallas, TX. It's possible that it will be a recurring event. The website can be built using existing content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, and any other CMS that can get the job done. We will also accept bids for custom development. The website will need to be a clean, and professional design with a small amount of eye candy to satisfy the target audience. Below are a list of the main features the website will need:
- Website User Registration (this will allow users to post on forums, sign up for events, create teams for events)
- Event Registration (Users will be able to register for an event with the option to pay now or later, and with the option to join a team or make a team)
- Administrator Dashboard (create pages, create posts, create events, moderate events, moderate forums, moderate users)
- Other general design elements to be discussed.
We have a base design infrastructure that can be used which was custom developed, but not finished. If a developer is interested in taking over using that we would be willing to discuss that as well.
