Simple ecommerce site using magento or prestashop

A fairly simple ecommerce site for antique furniture. Limited number of products. We prefer to use either magento or prestashop so must have experience with one of these. The home page design has been completed and approved, although there will be some minor tweaks. Photoshop file available. Some work was done creating a magento template but was not completed - files available if useful.
Detailed instructions and requirements available. This project was started by an individual but they are unable to complete due to personal reasons, so I am looking for someone that can work quickly and effectively. I have several other sites available to place so ideally looking for someone for repeat hiring. I am an internet marketing company and have lots of ongoing work - I am NOT an end user site and I am familiar with reasonable rates - so please bear that in mind when bidding. There is the potential of a lot of ongoing work for good people or a team.
Must be able to handle design work (or have a partner who can) as well as the programming work. There are no real custom requirements that a shopping cart cannot already handle.
So to summarize - set up magento or prestashop carts, create or finish template coding, design internal pages and set up shopping cart for categories, products etc. Please ask if you have any questions. Please provide samples of similar sites and explain your programming and design abilities.
***Communication, following instructions and attention to detail are most important.
Having done more research I prefer to go with Prestashop - this is a small site with few products and I think Magento is overkill for this site. Prestashop is quicker and easier.
Initially there will be no payment gateway - we will add this later. To start all buyers will contact seller for more information on products.
