Hello,
You are passionate about user experience and can pinpoint the areas that need improvement. You are able to come up with intuitive solutions to those user experience problems. We would like to hire you.
The current user experience of our web application is less than ideal. Users need to click to too many links to get to their desired content and the main central navigation isn't very good.
The hire will do a refactor of our site-map, as in, come up with an efficient structure of links from each type of page to the other that makes intuitive sense. As well we require a refactor of the main navigation so that it's more clear to the users where they can go, and how they can get back to previous content areas easily.
The deliverables for this work:
* Site map diagram of how the site should be structured for a better user experience.
* Mockup images of where the main navigation should be, and what links it should contain. These are not high fidelity mockups, but simply wireframes representing the user experience.
* Small one page report detailing why the reorganization that was chosen makes for a better user experience.
Details of our current application:
It's a small web application. There are two separate content areas. In each content area, there are five sub-content areas. In each sub content area, users have the possibility of two actions, which would navigate them to another page.
The application is online. We will give you login access to browse around the application to analyze it.
This work is more mental and the result will leave us with a direction of how we should implement the necessary changes.
