Hello freelancers
I am a private educational tutor and I need a personal website created to accompany my current Facebook page [login to view URL] The website will not be complex (8-10 pages, nothing complicated besides maybe some flash banners and a built-in form). The name of the website will be IBTutorOnline. A simple logo will also need to be made (although I have some experience with graphic design, so this part can be collaborative). The colorscheme and fonts need to reflect that of [login to view URL]
The website AUDIENCE will be predominantly PARENTS of 16-18 year olds who seek to tuition for their children. So the website needs to be easy to navigate, user-friendly, professional, and appealing. This is a personal website, as I am the only tutor so in effect I need the website to sell myself. This website needs to be convincing.
I am nearly done writing up all of the content. I don’t expect the designer to create/edit content, however suggestions and improvements will be greatly appreciated and subsequently rewarded. I am offering a good price because I would like some CREATIVE input from website design (please no generic templates). I want something unique and visually appealing. I will be supplying the majority of the images as well.
I’m in the process of completing the content and compiling the images, so the deadline of this project is rather flexible. I wish for it to be a collaborative project with improvements and edits, completed over several weeks instead of a weekend job. Communication skills are very important.
EXPERIENCE: any past experience with personal websites (tutors, lawyers, consults, doctors) is a plus. Any work on websites dealing with education (universities/schools) is also added bonus.

If I am happy with the website, then there is lots of potential for further work:
- constructing an infographic for the website
- compiling a simple video (no serious experience with video editing needed)
- designing new facebook banner and logo
If the freelancer is qualified to do these tasks then I will work again with him/her and compensate them very well. I’m looking to build a lasting professional relationship.
