We are a travel agent based in The Netherlands renting out holiday houses in two European countries to customers in German- and Dutch-speaking countries. The business is mainly driven by six different website having their an own www-domains (each language/rental area combination). The houses are owned by private persons which are either directly contracted or contracted via third-party agencies. The business volume is several hundred weeks of rental per year. The company is run as family business. Key-word web-vertising is the most important tools for creating traffic, the actual bookings are mostly placed based after personal contact by phone. As niche-player pricing, personal service and fast reactions are essential. At the current state of business more web-enabled processes are required. The new system will cover existing functionality as catalogue browsing and maintenance of house master data.
