In a simple vb application that I am using, I needed to be able to work around session cookies. For instance if you go to: [login to view URL] and then go to: [login to view URL] They will appear to be the same page. However if you wait 30 minutes or so for the server session timeout, you will see that the pages are different. If I turn session cookies off, I get nothing. I have been using the Inet(MS Internet Transfer Control) ocx for reading web pages, but it fully supports standard session cookies so it is of no use at sites like the above. I am not sure what the solution is: It could be that you just point the way to a ready and waiting ocx/dll that can do the job or you program an ocx/dll that works like Inet, but works around or fakes session cookies. The solution needs to work with VB6.
