VB6 Create Purhcase Order in SQL & PDF
$100-500 USD
Pagado a la entrega
We require a Visual Basic application which will run through a SQL table of orders and create one or more purchase orders for the items ordered. Additionallly, it must create .pdfs of each PO to be faxed. This application MUST BE written in Visual Basic 6.
We wil provide access to our development SQL database to the chosen bidder.
The program needs to look through tblOrderDetails where the filed LinePurchased = 0. Zero indicates the line has not been pruchased yet, 1 means it has & can be skipped.
For each item found, where Line Purchased =0, the item must be looked up in tblProducts, via the prodSKU field to check the StockItem field. If StockItem = 1, i is a stock item and does not need to be purchased. If StockItem=0, the PrimarySupplier field must be taken and matched in tblVendors to determine the appropriate vendor to purchase the item from.
Costs for each of the items can be found in tblProdcosts by match on the VendorID & prodSKU fields.
The shipping information (where the items will be delivered to) is retrieved by taking the OrderID on the specific line being purchased, atching it in tblOrders.
Each individual OrderID must have it's own purchase order created.
Depending how many items are on an order, which are not stock items, on order may equal two or more purchase orders.
The purchase orders must be created using the SQL tables tblPoHead & tblPoDetails.
In addition, after the PO has been created & inserted into the table, a Purchase Order must be created suitable for faxing or emailing as an attachemnt. This PO must take the form of a PDF file. The filename should take the format {orderid}-{vendorid}.pdf.
## Deliverables
Screen captures showing the various table structures are included in the attatched zip file.

To all bidders. The .pdf file seems to be a bit of an issue. We knew this when we posted. I dont really want to use a printer driver to create the .pdf. In order to make things easier for everyone, we can accept the Purchase Order being created as an HTML file instead of a .pdf. That will be acceptable. We can still email the html file or print it. So, the .pdf requirement has now been dropped from this project.
