Hello,
As I offer hosting for 14 years now, I can give you some tips. First of all, don't to it, it's not worth it. If you still want to do it, think about what you are offering. You really want to offer webhosting on a single internet connection? All of the major and minor hosting companies offer redundant connections, redundant power!, air conditioned room for the servers, a special 'raised floor' that is anti earthquake, and a fire suppression system with an inert gas that costs 100k USD / tank. They all have personnel on site 24/7 if something goes wrong (for example a hdd failure). Even if you are set to starting your hosting business I would recommend for starters rent a dedicated server from a bigger company that has all these requirements listed above. Or if you are set to use your own server, then colocate one with such a company. If you think your customers don't need all of these, I can show you how to get all domain name extensions, what control panel to use (free or paid) + I will install the control panel and firewall so you can start your 1 server business.
