ASP.NET MVC2 - ROUTES AND AREAS FUNCTIONS

We are looking for technical help to be understand "Routes and Areas" functions in MVC2 to achieve the integration of 2 separate projects together. We have our main project that was developped in house with a simple MVC2 structure (with one namespace and one project). We are using a controller named "Home". The second project was outsourced and they used a more complex structure (with one namespace but 10 projects linked together). They are also using a controller named "Home". **We have attempted to merge them together with Routes and Areas functions, are able to compile without errors but the link between both application does not work.** See attached screen shoots. MVCinfosite is our main project and rdlgenerator is the subproject we are trying to integrate. Can you help us with this task which we believe should be simple. They will be under the same session variable and sharing such session variable will be manage by Routes and Areas. No additional session variable is required. Essentialy we want MVCINFOSITE Project to call RDL Generator project under the same domain name. We have tried to configure these functions and something is not working.
