Modify Flowplayer Wordpress Plugin

I require modifications to the WP plugin FV "Wordpress Flowplayer", which can be found here... <[login to view URL]>. The purpose of the plugin is to allow users to quickly and easily display videos on their pages and posts using the flowplayer video player. The functionality that I require that it does not have, is the ability to take advantage of some of the plugins that are available for flowplayer. Currently when inserting the video, a popup appears asking for the required information (such as the URL of the video). I would like for the information required for each flowplayer plugin to appear in a separate tab. Here are a list of flowplayer plugins (and hence tabs) I would like to include, along with the information that the user should be able to enter. **IPad/iPod** Please note, part of the deliverables of this project is ensuring that the video works on iDevices (this plugin should do that anyway) * Use iPad Plugin (checkbox) * iPad URL * Simulatei Device * Controls **Analytics** * Google Account ID * Debug Mode * The events that should be tracked are start, pause, seek, stop and finish. Please ensure it differentiates finish from stop (there are instructions on the page). There is no need to do anything with playlists **Control Bar** * Auto hiding enabled * All of the "Visual properties and buttons" **Viral Videos** Please ensure you use the "Viral Videos" plugin, not the "Sharing" plugin. This should be broken up into 3 sections. Email, Share, and Timing * Share * All share properties (please make sure "Share Window" is a dropdown) * Email * I would like the "Viral Videos" plugin modified to suit my needs here. The user inputs required are shown below, and the changes to the plugin are outlined at the end of this document. * Subject * Body * Timing * This section allows the user to enter a time in the video that they would like the share dialog to appear, and a time for it to disappear if it is not closed manually. It also allows them to decide what tab in the dialog box will appear (Email, Sharing or Embed). It also allows the user to specify if they would like the sharing dialog to appear when the video is paused. So the fields in this section are as follows: * Use timed sharing (check box) * Display sharing at end of video (check box) * Display sharing when video paused (checkbox) * Default share tab. This should be a dropdown containing "Share", "Email" and "Embed". Whichever the user selects, is the tab that will be displayed when the video ends or pauses (if any) * Time for dialog box (hh:mm:ss) * Time to remove dialog box (hh:mm:ss) **Poll For Events** This is not an actual plugin, but I would like it as another tab anyway. The purpose of this is the the user should be able to enter up to 5 events that they would like to have happen at certain times in the video. For example, they may wish to only display a "Buy" button when the video gets to the point of 5 minutes and 27 seconds. To implement this, there should be 5 rows of inputs, with 2 columns. The columns would be "time of event" (format hh:mm:ss) (which is the time that the event should occur), and "function", which is the name of a javascript function that is to be called at that time. The javascript functions are to be defined in the next tab. **Functions** This is simply one single text area where the user can cut and paste all javascript functions that are used in the above tab. **CHANGES TO THE EMAIL FUNCTIO IN VIRAL VIDEOS** As discussed in the "Viral Videos" section, I would like to change the way the email section works in this FlowPlayer plugin (it is open source). When the user clicks the email button, 4 icons should appear (they should have a similar style to the "Share" icons, and part of this project is to make these icons). Those icons are Gmail, Yahoo, Windows Live/Hotmail and Other (should contain the text other and an image of an envelope). When any of these icons is clicked, a different popup window should appear according to which one was clicked. The popups will be as follows (please insert the subject and body where appropriate). * Gmail - <[login to view URL]>=<INSERT SUBJECT>&body=<INSERT BODY> * Yahoo - [login to view URL]<INSERT SUBJECT>&Body=<INSERT BODY> * Windows Live - [login to view URL]<INSERT SUBJECT>&body=<INSERT BODY> * Other - mailto:?subject=<INSERT SUBJECT>&body=<INSERT BODY> **Special Cases** * In all instances except Yahoo, when passing the parameter, please replace all newline characters with %0A so it is passed correctly. Yahoo does not allow this, so with Yahoo, please replace newline characters with 4 spaces. * Yahoo does not work correctly when passing what it perceives to be a link, so as a work around, please remove any instances of "http://" AND "www." from the strings (only for Yahoo). For example, if the body of the email is "check this out - [[login to view URL]][2]", then if the end user uses yahoo to email their friends, when it is passed, the email would simply read "check this out... [login to view URL]". * Please ensure this works with all escape characters and special characters.
