What we need is simple, but there doesn't quite seem to be anything out there like it (at least that we can find). Here is the project:
1. You'll create a simple web page that, using the correct login/password, allows the user to browse HTML or TXT files in only the folder (or folders) on the web server that we specify. Then, when the user finds a file that they want to edit, they click, and the file is opened into a TinyMCE of FCKEditor window. The user edits, and then saves.
2. Lastly, you'll take a simple PHP script that we currently use (see attached) that allows users to upload files to a particular server folder, and you'll expand the functionality slightly. We need users to have the ability to choose from a list of four or five folders (that we specify in the code) to which they can upload their file. We currently do this by having five different upload buttons -- one for each of the five different folders we want to file uploaded to. We want you to modify the PHP script so that there is only ONE upload button, and a drop down menu (or checkboxes) next to the upload button that allows the user to choose WHERE to send the file.
**Feel free to use third-party programming snippets as long as they are FREE, legal, and require no watermark or other attribution.** This is a rather simple project, realistically, and we could do it ourselves, but we're short on time.
