Parameter fields in Crystal Report 4.6

I need to know one or two ways or only one but one that really works, on how to create parameter fields inside Crystal Reports 4.6 in design time. This version of Crystal Reports is included in the Visual Basic 6 CD. I have tried using the formula editor and putting {?Parameter) but it doesn't work for me. Please provide me the two ways and simple Visual Basic 6 proyect with the Crystal Report control included, and in the VB proyect show me how to pass information to the parameter you created in Crystal Reports. You have to give me the ways and the proyect. Its urgent. Please I have to accept the bid in two days.
