This project has a number of goals. The main task is to update a Microsoft Access 2000 database to use SQL Server 2008 Express. This is used in an asp.net project. The tasks are to: (1) write a script to export data from a number of MS Access asp.net membership tables and to import the data into the equivalent SQL Server membership tables. (2) Write script to create 3 other tables in SQL Server based on their MS Access structure and to export the data from the MS Access tables and to import the data into SQL Server. (3) Convert an MS Access based dataset (XSD file) to use SQL Server stored procedures.

The current MS Access DB and data set files (XSD) will be provided to the chosen coder.

## Task 1 - MS Access Membership Tables

Create scripts to extract data from the following MSAccess tables and import the data into the tables of the same name in a default Sqlserver Express 2008 [url removed, login to view] membership database

- aspnet_Membership

- aspnet_Roles

- aspnet_Users

- aspnet_UsersInRoles

The current MS Access database is a standard asp.net provider database.

The [url removed, login to view] is the default database created by the asp.net configuration tool when the security tab is selected in Visual Web Developer 2008.

## Task 2 - Convert Other tables

There are three other tables in the MS Access database to be converted. Scripts should be generated to create these tables with the same names in SQL Server 2008.

Scripts should also be generated which extract the data from the MS Access versions of the tables and import them into the SQL Server versions of the tables

## Task 3 - Convert Datasets Stored Procedures

Convert the asp.net dataset (XSD file) which currently uses the MS Access database to run on the SQL Server environment. These must use stored procedures. Scripts must also be created to automatically generate these stored procedures.
