556694 Data Scraping and Research Desktop Program

====================================================================== We're looking to have a simple microsoft windows desktop application created that will do basic: a) data scraping/data-mining b) display the data attractively d) sort the collected data and d) be able to export the data. The data source is a well known website and there are other similar tools out there. So, this is nothing difficult. A good programmer will be able to do this quickly. *By applying you agree that I own the source code and all copyright associated with this project. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - READ *CAREFULLY*: -------------------------------------------- 1. MUST BE AVAILABLE ON SKYPE - You MUST be available during project hours on Skype (you should have a microphone) 2. BE WELL COMMENTED CODE - Code should be well commented 3. BE AVAILABLE FOR UPDATES/SUPPORT (if needed) - You Be available for future updates and support (if needed) 4. ORIGINAL CODE a must - This must be a original code and must not be a rip off of other people code. You may use pre-existing frameworks and open source libraries as long as it complies with the corresponding library licenses. 5. a registration for the software must be in place Integration with a registration system 6. LICENSING/REGISTRATION SYSTEM support - it needs to have a simple licensing/registration in place (will give you an example to make things easier) 7. BETA TESTING and SUPPORT - You will allow me to beta test the new software. Also, you'll be available to fix any and all bugs related to the software that come up (hopefully, there will be few!) 8. MULTIPLE PROJECTS AVAILABILITY - we have several projects and each may build off the last. So we'd prefer someone who is looking for more long term assignments. I am looking for a long term solution here - not a one off assignment. 9. PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE - give examples of previous desktop software applications you have completed. show me your portfolio of developing similar projects 10. FAMILIARITY WITH DIFFERENT INSTALLERS preferred - experience with InstallShield, Advanced Installer, NSIS installers helpful.
