Program to alter velocity of MIDI files using finger movement on touchpad.

The program I want will interpret a continuous wavy line drawn by the user on a laptop touchpad to apply velocity/volume information to a MIDI file.

The user will listen to a MIDI file while dragging their finger from right to left on the touchpad. The program will store this finger-drawn information and use it to alter the velocity (volume) of the music in the MIDI file.

This program will interpret a continuous wavy line drawn by the user on a laptop touchpad to apply velocity/volume information to a MIDI file.

The user will listen to a MIDI file while dragging their finger from right to left on the touchpad. The program will store this finger-drawn information.

The program will then coordinate the start of the line with the first musical note in the MIDI file and the end of the line with the last musical note.

It will then prompt the user for a 'minimum' velocity and a 'maximum' note velocity.

It will then alter the velocities of the MIDI file using the leftmost parts of the line as the 'minimum' velocity and the rightmost parts of the line as 'maximum' velocity and everything in between will be proportionally scaled in between these two velocity levels.
