Developing current instance in the new version SugarCRM without using the files from the old one, this is because the current instance is not upgrade safe and has problems. so all the modules and customizations will be transfered manually onto new latest CE instance. There is no number of modules mentioned here as this is long term project not just 1time.
Your progress will be monitored for upgrade safe coding for each task.
