I can understand why notifications not appearing iOS side when receiver is in iOS side. Also it is working when iOS device as sender. If I am right please chat with me for more details I can suggest you to fix this issue

Hi, 1) Are you sending "Data Message" or "Notification"? Note that iOS cannot receive data messages when the app is closed. Hence if you are sending data messages, change it to send Notifcations instead. You can send "data" in notification if needed. 2) Check if you are sending "priority" & "title" & "content-available" in the notification. An example notification payload is shown below: { "priority" : "high", "notification": { "title": "Test Notification", "body": "This is message text", "notId": 10 }, "data" : { "surveyID": "somecustomid", "content-available": "1" }, "to": "TOKEN" } Hope this fix the issue.
