hi, i am an electronics engineer and i have a great experience in designing electronics circuits and microcontroller based embedded systems. your project requires a magnetic strip swipe card reader and for this purpose a simple magnetic tape head (would be connected to microphone pin of mobile) would be used to detect the magnetic signal from the card and also a little electronic circuitry(optional) for the encryption purpose of the detected data. however there is also another technique which will be used for the triple track code detection of credit card. please contact me for any question or further details.
