Project for Face Detection

As a part of my project, I need to compare several learning based algorithms used in face detection. Algorithms have been chosen from publications which provide their source code. 1-Already in the project a few face detection methods have been tested and run on datasets and have been compared against each other. 2- The second analysis and comparison will be done by changing the database of face images either by modifying some of the image content using image processing tools / filters and see which algorithm works better for those cases. 3- We need to produce a method that can tackle the problem of detecting an image that has been distorted. Throughout all the work, I have to be able to run everything on my own PC. I would appreciate if you could give me an estimation of cost and minimum time it takes for this project. --Please contact if you have worked on a similar subject at Masters degree or preferably PhD level and you are from the european area (otherwise it is very difficult to manage time zones)--
