Hi,

I am looking to create a simple iPad app that can help our field reps to calculate margin (POR)

I currently have a simple, straight forward Excel spreadsheet that we entered the sales price, cost price, account discount, VAT and POR required, etc into.

I want to convert this excel spreadsheet calculator to simple iPad app.

It needs to function offline all the time and no need for an Internet connection.

Excel spreadsheet requires inputs and performs a calculation and creates a selling price and POR

I have developed a spreadsheet to capture data from a processing plant (temperature, pressure etc), store the historical data, and then present the data as charts to show trends etc. It also has formulae to trigger alerts when values exceed pre-set limits etc. It operates on a laptop and the client emails me the data input sheet approximately whenever he feels like it. I then transfer it to my Excel workbook and generate the reports which I email back. As you know, this is prone to error and is time consuming and boring. I would like to convert this whole process into an app, whereby his operator can input the data directly to a tablet. The tablet will then automatically send that to my machine over the net and upload it, say once a day. The reports generated by my spreadsheet will be automatically sent back and displayed on same tablet in clients plant

There are approximately 25 regular input values, and these are captured several times a day.
