Hi, I'm a software engineer specialized on desktop applications with C++. I just became available for full time work after working for 5 years for an US company. I have a long track of working for US firms, I worked for one for 12 years, for another one for 2 years and for the last one 5 years. I did many projects but most of them were desktop apps implemented with C++ and mfc, the Microsoft library that server as an inspiration for implementing wxWidgets. I don't have a lot of experience with wxWidgets except some small programs and a bigger one used for reading, editing and writing a configuration file for a scientific computing application (DM-NRG), but I adapt quickly. I also prefer to be honest about it than lie as probably 99% of the bidders :) On the other hand I do have a lot of experience with C++ and databases (including Oracle and Sql Server). My preferred IDE when developing on linux is codeblocks. I work now through a sole ownership firm (I'm the only employed in it), I need a software development agreement and I issue invoices. I guess this bid has a very low chance because I don't have ratings, but it's worth a try. Thank you!
