Our Project comprises of 2 main tasks. 1. First part of the project deals with the Introduction to serialization and file formats. We need to run the existing code in the text book and show how the multiple file formats are accepted using the Avro and Parquet framework in Hadoop. These formats deal mainly with binary representations, service oriented architechture and language , cross- compatibility. 2. To perform Geonomics tasks using Spark. We use Spark here to do the following: * Manipulate large quantities of genomics data to process and filter data. * Build a transcription factor. * Join encode genome annotations against 1000 genome variants. All in all, we already have the code which we need to execute. Please find the text book uploaded for your reference. Reference: * 10th Chapter in Advance analytics using Spark.
