The website will allow Students and Tutors to set up profiles and when a students needs a tutor, he/she will be able to search and send a request to a tutor. Students will be able to search a database of nearby Tutors, sorting by price, availability, subject, and a variety of other heuristics. In this way, anyone can quickly and discreetly find exactly the Tutor they need. In addition to this method of filtering through Tutors, Tutors Direct also provides a bit of information about each tutor. On each Tutor’s profile page, users will find that every Tutor has successfully passed a Police Check as well as a Working With Children check . Additionally, Students will be able to leave feedback for each Tutor that they work with, making the selection process easy for fellow Students and ensuring that the standard of Tutors is high. How it works Students. Students create a Profile and include: .Name .Bio .Profile Picture (Optional) .Location (Suburb) .Subjects Tutors. They then submit an application form. The application process involves the submission of: .Resume .Police Check .Working with Children Check Once the application is approved, the Tutor can then proceed and set up a profile including: .Name .Bio .Profile Picture .Location (Suburb) .Areas of expertise .Price per hour .Availability Tutors can now receive requests from Students and either accept the request or decline.
