I need a new logo for my golf league - The LouTour.
What Is The LouTour? - We are a group of amateur golfers in Louisville, Kentucky who play every Wednesday night during the summer. We need a new logo for 2018 which will be the 20th anniversary of the league.
Current Logo - See attached/uploaded file.
About The Current Logo - The symbol for Louisville, Kentucky is the fleur-de-lis. Our current is designed to look like a series of golf clubs in the shape of a fleur-de-lis. This is a nice touch that we get a lot of comments about but it is not necessary to have that in the new logo.
Notes - I am not married to any font, color scheme or look & feel. My goal with the redesign is to make us look like the second coming of the PGA Tour. Most golf leagues don't even have a name. Ours is obnoxious on purpose in an attempt to be funny. At the end of the day I'd love to have a new (simple, but highly professional) looking logo. From there I will focus on web site and e-mail newsletter template.
I don't profit from the golf league but am going to go back to my players and ask each of them to chip in a few bucks to cover the cost of this project.
