Requirements: Website written in HTML/PHP, and database in SQL.
Users: Auto dealerships
User functions: Add to inventory, remove from inventory, view inventory, request information on vehicles (which can be pulled from an API).
This website should allow users to log in, and access their database of vehicle inventory information. I would like for the database to be built using SQL (you can use any SQL variant you prefer, i.e. MySQL, MySQLi, SQLite, etc). The user should be able to add vehicles to their databases, remove vehicles, and view vehicles in their inventory. I have personal experience using the [login to view URL] API, which allows users to type in a VIN and it returns information about the vehicle. The [login to view URL] API is very easy to use, and I would supply you with the API key/token to use. I would like for the website users to be able to use this API to fetch available information about a vehicle.
You will also be responsible for designing the actual website itself. I don’t require that the website look extremely fancy. I can give you a better idea of what I am looking for soon. The website should also be mobile friendly.
I have experience in PHP and SQL, so I have a good idea of what is possible and what isn’t possible. I can help with the code or API if you would like. Additionally, I have already purchased the domain.
