Just to start off, so you don't have to search for it, yes, I have read the book Pride and Prejudice (and I feel bad for anyone who hasn't!). Not only that, but I think I would do a great job writing a book that is in a similar vein. Since I received my advanced degree in creative writing, I am extremely well-versed in all of the literary techniques that can be utilized to shape a story to an intended vision, and I will hard to do so. I would love to be considered for this project, but there is only one downside. I must be completely honest in telling you that I would only be able to commit 20 hours a week to this project (there may be a few weeks I could do 25-30). Aside from Jane Austen, I am also a fan of Georgette Heyer, who writes like Austen but more light hearted and humorous.
