What I need or require:
I run a 3D/Graphics tutorial site that's been around for little over a year. In the past I had time to make my own tutorials, post 3-5 times a week, and keep up with marketing and promotion and everything else you need to do to run an online business. Unfortunately I don't have anywhere near that kind of time any more and as a result my site has waned a little over the last year (I blame degree studies for this); with full time work around the corner I don't see the situation changing.
Because of this I'd like to hire some contributers. If there's something you do very well relating to 3D, Photoshop, Flash, Games, Art in general then I want to hear from you! The type of tutorial is up to you (video, written with screenshots) and obviously you'll need to let me know what you want to make before you make it. The material will be used online on my website, you'll get credit (you need to submit a short bio and pic - photo or logo), and if I want to use it elsewhere I'll always ask permission first.
Other context/requirements that providers will need to know:
The tutorials will be posted at a rate of once per week, you can do as many or as few as you like (subject to agreements and discussion of course). There are 52 slots in a year, as a result you're not really competing with other respondents. If I like your idea and you can write to a high standard (or at least, in an easily understood manner) I'd be happy to hire you.
Specific expertise/background that I am seeking:
Obviously you'll need to be educated in whatever subject you're discussing and the software associated. Beyond that I'm not asking for a lot of expertise - if you know what you're doing I'm happy. I started the site while still studying after all, it'd be a bit hypocritical if I demanded minimum experience.
Timeframe for delivery:
From an agreed tutorial proposal to the end product I'm willing to give up to 2 weeks. This is to make sure there's time to research, write (or film), create screenshots where necessary, edit, and have a rough approved.
