we need to quickly develop a Cloud based email program that will do the following. We CAN layer this on top of an existing email system (ie, handle the requirements via plug ins/add ons/etc).
You will need to demonstrate your ability to provide custom cloud based solutions - AND if you've ever done something similar, will need to be able to provide sample work
REQUIREMENTS/USER FLOW
1) Accept user entry (customer name and email) from a feed
2) Send customer a custom email (we will provide template – template needs to be modifiable in future) with user defined criteria (ie, when to send, edit the message, etc)
3) Contents of email will have 2 primary user options
a. Option 1 – click here to go x
-- this option will require some integration with external sites
b. Option 2 – click here to go y
-- this option will result in a company managed website being displayed AND an company managed email being sent internally.
4) Need full cloud based tracking:
a. How many emails went out per day (on demand , custom date ranges)
b. Names/emails who emails were sent out to
c. Were emails received/opened/clicked in… Ideally, we be able to see how many
users opened/clicked in/what click they chose AND potentially, where they want on the next 3rd party site (although this piece is optional)
5) Email support
a) for email lists beyond above (ie legacy), will need to be able to import from current files
b) need to be able to manage sending emails - ie, newsletters to entire population
6) Misc:
a. Scale
i. All functionality above is for 1 location
ii. Each cloud account must have capability to have multiple locations
iii. Reporting could be per location or account
