We are looking for someone to create and help us implement and manage a crowdfunding campaign. [login to view URL] is the official site for the children's book "Lolo's Superpower". Our book's character is a lovable doll that helps children with differing physical abilities and limb differences learn to accept and embrace that which makes them different. "Lolo's Superpower" is the first of a series of five books, all geared towards teaching the reader their difference is their superpower. Additionally, we have developed a plush doll of Lolo that has detachable limbs, so a child can adapt the doll to reflect their own situation. Currently, the book is available directly from our site, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Target or Walmart sites. The doll will be available through our site or Amazon. Proceeds from both the book and doll are donated to our 501C-3 Non-profit, www.ProjectLolo.org. Project Lolo was created to provide access to and fund orthopedic care, devices such as wheel chairs and prostheses for children in developing countries, where the need is greatest. In our first 18 months, we have been able to provide 8 prosthetic legs for children at our partner facility, Orthopedic Training Center in Nsawam, Ghana.
We are looking to create a crowdfunding campaign in order to produce and distribute the doll, as well as print a second run of the book. Our doll prototype is done and we are just waiting to start the project once funding is available. We are seeking someone that can create a campaign for us and help administer it.
