Using Raspberry Pi, I want to have a program that can read and log data from environmental sensors, and also encode each reading with a gps data, that can be later viewed in google earth or a similar mapping program. The program will include monitoring for Air particle concentration, humidity, temperature, Co2 and Co, and will show the values of each test in the final Google earth XML file.

since the pi is a microprocessor its not any good for real time hardware processing, i would recommend using an arduino or a similar micro controller in between the sensors and the pi. feel free to contact me or check my profile for my past works.
