Short script for interactive experience

Hello, I am opening an escape room, if you are not familiar with those, here is a definition:

I have a theme for my room which is the following:

It takes place in the town of Tombstone, AZ. Part of the wild west. Our hero, Hannah, investigates crimes from all over the world and time. She has found someone that was falsely accused and hung for a crime they did not commit. She has traveled back to tombstone one hour before the hanging. You are at the present day site of the crime(the local saloon) and need to help her collect the evidence needed to exonerate the man. You will communicate the clues you find to her through the electronic device she has given you.

I would like your help in writing a story around the murder that happened and what really occurred. Let's say that John is the falsely accused man and that Rick is the actual murderer. How did the whole thing happen? How did Rick make it look like John did it? Corrupt sheriff? Planted evidence. Confusion during a bar fight? How might our players investigation unfold?

Once the script is written I will use it to create a full script for the puzzles, etc. in the room. For your part I just need a well crafted short story. Thank you and don't hesitate to contact me for questions or if you want to brainstorm with me. Looking forward to working together.
