I open the host (1and1) and ftp access and you back up a one page (probably 10MB max)website (and email box if you can) onto a cd (cd drive available) 3) You load up the back up onto a test node of your own somewhere to show it is functioning STEP2 1) You migrate the domain, and website (and email box if possible) onto a different host (contabo) STEP 3 1. Two days later you check to se the migration has been completed without hitch, and check the website and email box (if possible) STEP1 is probably 10-120 minutes STEP 2 is probably 60 minutes STEP 3 is probably 60-120 minutes spread over 2- 3days
