Label Printer driver - ZPL or EPL

Print ZPL or EPL Label from Winforms DeskTop App 1. I want a ‘Label Print App’. (‘the App’) 2. ‘the App’ can be a DLL. 3. The DLL will need Methods to ChoosePrinter, Start and Stop. 4. The DLL will need an Event to report an Error. 5. I want to ‘drop’ text files into a directory. 6. I want ‘the App’ to detect the file, ‘process’ it then delete it. 7. ‘the App’ ‘processes’ the file by reading it and printing a label to the ‘connected printer’. 8. The ‘connected printer’ will be a barcode printer such as a Zebra TPL 2824. 9. ‘the App’ needs to configure (select) which printer to use and store this setting – through the ChoosePrinter method. 10. From this point onwards, the app will print a label for each file dropped into the directory without any additional user input. 11. The printer will be connected via USB. 12. The text file will contain the ZPL / EPL required for the printer. (see example below) Example format of Text File. ########### ^XA ^BY5,2,170 ^FO175,150^BC^FD1234567890^FS ^XZ ########### 13. Errors will be returned via an event which could be subscribed to via the parent application. Other considerations – but not necessary: A. If label editing can be incorporated, it would be advantageous. In this case, a label format would be set up and saved as the default and the dropped text file would only need to send the Text for the Label to be printed and not the code. B. If Label Media can be selected from an list of all standard media – that would be useful. C. If it is possible to print to any other printer type – Also useful. The code should be available in Visual Studio C#. I would expect to own the code.
