The objective is to create a .NET method (a procedure) that would take two strings as input and would output a string array (or list) or a string with the elements comma separated.
The input parameters are the start and end of a number range as strings.
Here are some examples:
start end result
0 9999 <empty string> as 0-9999 is a full range and the empty string will match every number
1000 9999 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 - everything but 0xxx is matched
8000 8999 8 - as only 8xxx should be matched
4000 4599 40,41,42,43,44,45 - as 46xx, 47xx, 48xx, 49xx are NOT part of the range
199 599 0199, 02, 03, 04, 05 - as we only match 0199, 02xx, 03xx, 04xx and 05xx - 0 through 198 should NOT be matched!
400 2800 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 1, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 2800 - don't match 0-399 and everything > 2800
4120 4411 412, 413, 414, 415, 416, 417, 418, 419, 42, 43, 440, 4411 - you got it? :)
The method should be well documented and most importantly your bid needs to start with "Yes, I have!" to clearly show that you have read and fully understood the requirements.
