C programming language project involving file system implementation and FUSE

The project involves implementing an in-memory file system simulator that will later be integrated with FUSE ([login to view URL]) that will allow users to interact with the simulated file system using the Linux file system interface. System should be able to create and delete files and folders, open and close the files and folders, read and write to the files and the capability to save the simulated file system to a file and then restore the system from the saved version. The boilerplate source code provided must be used. Other utility methods can be created to make the program easier to debug, but the methods provided in simfs.c must be coded to their specification.
