I'm in need of a professional structural engineer with a prime focus on residential buildings. The primary task features the comprehensive design of the structure. The successful freelancer should be able to provide:
- Proven experience in designing residential structures
- Exceptional knowledge in compliance with building codes
- Excellent design skills, maintaining the integrity and safety of the structure
This is focused on concrete column, beam, post tensioned cast in place concrete. Standard dimensions length and width will be in the 35 to 40 feet for routine stressing of tendons. The cast in place will be within a stay in place precast concrete wall system, which serves as the finished wall service, exterior and interior. Most standard materials are eliminated, creating simplicity and economy. My preferred design is a perimeter project, about forty houses enclosing an interior space about the size of a football field. This is a proven system, used in Canada, and a little bit here. It has been my life's work, and is my solution for affordable, quality, durable, and attractive housing to withstand the vagaries of climate change.
