I see you have a Voltage divider setup using the know and unknown resistor. Give the known resistor value, supply voltage and position in voltage divider and we are good to go. Is the 16x2 character LCD I2C based or conventional 8 bit one? I recommend having an additional switch, which will initiate the measurement of the unknown resistor.
