We are looking for a web developer who is skilled in both ASP.NET, AJAX, and LINUX to modify our current website. The address is [login to view URL], the site is run off a mysql database. We are looking to add the following: 1) Banner system for advertising, and placement of banners 2) TEAM SEARCH PAGE a) Add a drop down menu for choosing Varsity, JV, Middle School, or Club b) Add a box to choose between mail and female sports c) Add a country drop down box, so international teams can sign -up. ** We will need to add those options into the team page sign up scripts as well. 2A) Add sport, gender, and level to the search results page for team pages. An example of this would be: Highland Park/Scots/ Varsity/ Girls basketball/ TX. This should also display across the Top of each team Page. WE WOULD LIKE TO ADD RUGBY AND CRICKET TO OUR LIST OF SPORTS AS WELL. ** Would it be possible to Enlarge the font for the Header of each team page, or at least make the Team Name larger than the school name and level? It might give each page more pop. 2) Add Ajax to ROSTER and SCHEDULE on team pages. We want people to be able to view these in full, similar to the way the RANKINGS box works on the home page. Also, we would like the ability for coaches to upload PDF’s of their schedules, which could then be viewed in Ajax. ** We would also like for schedules and rosters to be filled out at once, rather than one game/athlete at a time. 3) Add the ability to scroll between photos in photo galleries while in Ajax, and allow for unlimited photos to be uploaded to each team page or player profile. We could use a page system, where only 12 photos were visible at a time. 3A) Add the ability to write captions to be displayed below each photo. 4) Home Page and Menu Re-Configuration a. Change out the flash pictures on the home page to a slide show, and add a photo upload portal to the Admin section. We would like the ability to upload current photos to the home page, with captions below/beside them. b. Reconfigure news and rankings boxes as discussed with Derek. c. Remove “Team Pages” and “Student-Athletes” tabs from menu, and add a “Team Search” tab. d. Add “key feature” elements to all About Us pages as discussed with Derek. e. Add new Wallpaper, and Place NEW BORDER down the sides of the site. 5) Add VMIX player or similar player to the player profiles and team pages. This would enable people to upload their own videos in any format, and allow them to have multiple videos displayed in chapter form. To learn more about this free product, go to: [login to view URL] 6) Add a “Coach Approved” capability where coaches can verify their players’ stats and recruiters will see the “coach approved” symbol on players’ profiles as they browse our database. 5) Add QUICK SEARCH boxes to the home page for both players and teams. ALSO, could we add a “Remember my username/ password” field? 6) Add a Sign-up box on the home page similar to that found on [login to view URL] 7) Add a Terms and Conditions agreement to the sign-up scripts. We will provide the document. 8) Add a portal in the Admin where we can change out the background wallpaper for the 9) PLAYER SEARCH RESULTS PAGE We would like to have a small little camera picture appear next to an athlete’s name if there is video available on the profile. This would let recruiters know which profiles have video, and which do not. 10) Add the ability to create color templates for schools so we can match player profiles to school colors. 11) Add the ability to Track which recruiters/users are viewing which profiles, and how many times. (Discusses in meeting with Derek). 12) Install Control Panel (PLESK) on our server, for email and data tracking purposes. 13) Install “SUSPEND” portal in the Admin section giving us the ability to suspend the site while uploading new features. 14) Search engine (Google) optimization.
