Become a part of one of the biggest Lakers fan websites on the internet, Lakerholicz.com. You will be required to report on current Lakers news, rumors, events, etc. You are free to choose your own topics, as long as they are Lakers-related. Your articles will be promoted via our large social networks (21,000+ Facebook likes and 62,000+ Twitter followers) so you will have the opportunity to gain recognition for your work. Your pay will be variable and performance based. For example, the more people who read your content, the more money you can earn. The source of your readers and the topics you cover will also affect your pay. We work on a 50/50 revenue share, so you'll earn half of the money your article generates. You must be a native English speaker and have strong knowledge of publishing on the web. You must be able to fact check your articles and verify sources. An interest in SEO and social media marketing is also needed. You do not have to be a Lakers fan - though this would be preferred - just as long as you have knowledge of the sport of basketball and understand the NBA as a whole. This is a flexible position and you can work as much - or as little - as you prefer. Obviously, the more work you do the more you'll earn. There are a couple things that would make me be a great candidate: 1) Basketball fan. I watch the sport as much as I do breathing. Not trying to take it too far, but I really love the game and am eager to talk about a sport that I've always enjoyed. It's a game that is starting to take the world by storm, and I think it has the potential to be shown and talked about worldwide. 2) The Los Angeles Lakers just so happens to be my home team and therefore my favorite team. I keep up-to-date on all the news, including scores, conferences, practices, and any details that are in regards to the Laker squad. They are my boys, and I would make sure to always do right by them for their efforts are shown by the support of its fans. In short, I love basketball and I love the Lakers. Having a gig like this would be ideal, for it allows me to stay with a team that I've supported since I was a boy. And that's a dream job one could never take for granted.
