As the concept is new so there are many experimental checkup (prons/cons) to be done before implementation .Even though many were done in past said Drik Bullman (team leader ) . First experiment use as a wholesale currency many question arises as ECB is backbone of financial structure . Finally Bullman admitted blockchain is not mature enough for digital Euro but there is possibility in future as it evolve fast .
