Online Researcher - Business-related / Executive Contact Info

We're a growing mergers & acquisition consulting firm based out of Canada - and we're looking for an extremely tech & business savvy online researcher. Our business is finding market trends and more importantly businesses to acquire for our clients. We need someone who can find these businesses that best fits our clients portfolio. This not only includes online research but also being able to pick up the phone and call for the necessary information. Example would be business brokers in different cities, and countries. This does not include valuating companies and coming up with forecasted cash flows - this is purely information gathering and facts finding. Online research doesn't just include businesses but also, looking for people of interest - retired CEOs, senior executives of local - regional - national companies, managing partners of banks and professional firms. And it can get more granular by finding out their emails and contact information. Communication is important between us. We will talk via IM - and weekly calls to get updates. You'll be working with me directly, and reporting to me. I'm looking for someone that is dedicated for a long term working relationship (and friendship). The first 3 months will be a probation period to see how well you perform. And if there is chemistry between us. We're not looking for lazy people. We're looking for people who are committed to being the best and being involved in an organization that's continuously learning and growing with new challenges. At the end of each working day, you will put together a daily email report about all activities you've done for the day - and the time spent on each activity. Candidate Profile: • A deep understanding of a variety of business industries (including software, service, manufacturing, real estate, etc) and market trends • University or college degree • Excellent Communication (Oral and Written) skills are required. • Should be internet savvy with basic research skills. • Candidates who are interested in browsing and surfing the Internet and online research. • High level of proficiency in MS-Office and on Internet. Good command over typing and operational knowledge of computers preferred. • Ability to meet deadlines. Should be able to work in a team, accept feedbacks and show continuous improvement.
